Sadie's Blessing

We headed to Salt Lake for Memorial Weekend to be able to bless Sadie with all of our family there. We blessed her at the Garden Park Ward building Saturday night, April 24th. It was a small, intimate setting, made special by the fact that Sadie was being blessed in the same building I was, wearing the same dress that I wore.

We had every one of our brothers and sisters and our neices and nephews there. My grandma and grandpa Thurman were even there for the event.

Kate turns 3!

Kate turned three on May 10th. She seems so grown up and mature that I can't believe she is just now turning three. Ben's mom, dad and sisters came to visit for the weekend to meet Sadie and to celebrate with Kate. We had a great time.

Kate is a very decisive person. Back in November at Conner's birthday she announced that she wanted a flower party when it was her turn to have a birthday. In the past six months she hasn't once changed her mind. So, I let her pick out flower plates and I made a cake to match.

Kate had a great day. Her favorite presents were her bubble makers (she got two), her pink scooter (pronounced tooter) and her butterfly belt.
